Reflection for Service Learning by Celine

I learned a lot of things during this program. Firstly, I discovered that many places were not well built to suit the elderly and the disabled. Even though there was some parts to help, I felt that it was not enough to help the elderly or the disabled get around. For example, when my friend was acting as a blind person, people gave us stares as they walked past. This shows that they treat disabled or elderly as outcasts. They have feelings too. We also learnt how it felt like to be an outcast, and this could be what they feel. We should all keep an eye out for the elderly and the disabled, if they are in need, we should help them whenever possible and not just stare on.
