Here is the HW for today:-

-Math - Complete the practise paper, if you have not
-Geo - Download Lesson 11-1 in the Geography Google Site and finish it by TOMORROW
-Physics - Complete the worksheets given by TOMORROW
**There are History extra lessons this FRIDAY. Please be there.
**The answers for the Chemistry Revision Worksheets are uploaded on the Chemistry Google Site. Please download it and self-mark your work. If you have any doubts after reviewing your work, please tell Mr Chan tomorrow during Science lesson.
**Here is the format for the EOY maths exam:


There will be 2 papers
Paper 1: 60 minutes - 45 marks
Paper 2: 75 minutes - 55 marks

CALCULATORS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR BOTH PAPERS, but you will need to show all relevant workings to get the METHOD MARKS.

**Here is the format for the History EOY exam:
•  Structured essay questions(14 marks)
–  4 questions
•  Source‐based questions(11 marks)
–  2 questions

•  Total: 25 marks
•  Time: 1 hour 15 minutes

What to revise:

–  The concept of “con´Čéict” and how WWII is an
example of conflict
–  Japan’s reasons for going to war
–  Why and how Singapore fell so quickly to the
Japanese in 1942
–  Life during Syonan‐to: how the people in
Singapore were treated by the Japanese

–  The concept of “immigration”
–  Voluntary and involuntary factors for immigration
to Singapore in the 19th Century
–  Contributions of the early pioneers to the development of Singapore

–  Structured essay questions – how to write an
introduction, do PEEL(s) and end your essay with a conclusion
–  Source‐based questions - 1)Basic Inference question 2) Inference + Purpose question

If you do not score over 55% for this exam, you will need to return on 29 or 30 Nov for a re-test.

Section A: 30m - 1h (Free writing)
Narrative/Personal Recount [300-500 words]
Section B: 30m - 45 min (Situational Writing)[120-200 words]

Paper 2 English
40m - 1h 40 mins
Compre -> Indirect, Quote, Direct, Vocab questions (20m)
Summary 20m

Total: 100m
